Numbers Count

Numbers Count was a computational number theory column that appeared in the British computer magazine Personal Computer World during the 1980s and 1990s. The author, mathematician Mike Mudge, wrote a total of 174 columns from Feb 1983 to Oct 1997, all of which are available as PDF files from the table below. There were no columns for the Sep and Oct 1991 issues of PCW, and the Jan 1993 column was a duplicate of Oct 1990.

There was often more than one topic per column, plus a review of an earlier column. This contents list shows what was covered in each column - it's reasonably complete, but reflects my personal interests to some extent, so should not be considered fully exhaustive.

This list of web addresses of all the PDF files might help with multiple downloading. For example, wget -i address.txt.
